Okay. We don't know each other well enough to say very many of the "same old things." :-)

This reminds me of a thought, namely that the difference between liberal and conservative has taken on an importance that it never (or rarely ever) had before. I sometimes muse over a woman that I loved and very nearly married many years ago. Is she happy today? I still have love for her in a secret corner of my heart. We had the difference that I refer to, but it didn't ever affect our relationship. Now I think--if we had married, how would we deal with this today? Would it break us apart? This leads to me sad thoughts.

I still don't want to play the blame game as to whose fault this would be. It really makes no difference. It is just sad.
