by the rednecks on this thread Now tyke, what does that serve... ?

Anyway, tyke that was obviously written by a Liberal LOL...but you already know my stance on Iraq. I didn't/don't agree with Mr. Bush. As to Iran well I posted a lot on that back on the old Strictly Drilling and BBR threads. I'd pull up the stuff but it seem the new SI doesn't allow me to search that far back... Now I'm gonna have to with my own routine.... or get organised like Jay Chen...

I think the US should have been courting Iran instead of listening to David Frump (see I CAN be catty too but does it serve a purpose except to have folks on the opposing view tune you out ? )... and his Axis of Evil... makes me think of Mike Myers anyway...and Dr, Eviiiil....

Iran is not the same as the Arab middle east... even their fundamentalists are more secular... I remember they have one cleric that was fighting for women to have equal blood money rights... while the blood money concept is barbaric IMO ... the equal right (value) aspect was a great leap forward... It was based upon the idea that many women are now the often the sole breadwinners and or equal participants in breadwinning and loss of their income could be extremely detrimental to a family... Imagine religious pragmatists...... realism is good... :o)

As to the Iranian nukes well they are going the way of Indonesia oil wise... They will in my lifetime be net importers... and their population is growing... They need nuclear unless of course the US wants to share it's vast coal reserves :O)

Looking at most of what Iran does... it falls in the realm of plain old Machiavellian geopolitics IMO and not simply unabashed religious fervour... I don't think they wannabee Wahhabi :o) There is no love lost between Persians and Arabs...

Kastel Not Liberal not Conservative...
