Thanks for your reply Kastel. Perhaps interesting that my use of the term "redneck" induces such admonition. Does your labeling the article "written by a liberal", discredit and refute its argument ? Far more interesting, though, was the reply my posting drew: "The US credibility is that it has the military might". Don't you think this sounds not unlike the "Might is Right" theme of '39/'45 vintage ? And yet there was nary a murmur of protest. I guess times change.... even in Canada.
