Rarebird,

It remains to be seen. I have been long the market from October 20th, 1987. I closed out almost all positions May 23, 1997. I took about 6000 points out of this now tired bull market. I must have good reason to be short right now, apparently I believe it is over at least for this year. I've been trading bonds for many years, I plan to remain short the bonds until I have good reason to do otherwise from the market itself. I have no expectations, I will follow the market and my indicators. They now point down. I've detailed at great length earlier in another SI group why I believe this is a very major topping action, once in a generation. If this market makes new highs, I will be surprised, but I will be holding long positions before that occurs. I can be wrong, but so far, short is the place to be. And I am sure of myself enough to take a position and stick my neck out here.:-)

BTW What would it take for you to be bearish?

Have a great weekend!
