Godot. After you mentioned NLY I got interested in mortgage reits. Have had several reits before--but not the mortgage variety. Stayed away from them partly because their low employee count put me off. Although I am sure they are largely contracted, I couldn't and still can't get a handle on employee count or production. Would like to know because I believe there is a little safety in numbers.

However, after looking them over, I decided to sell a couple of energy trusts (which are currently wondering what the price of nat. gas is gonna be) and bought NLY and LUM yesterday. Was lucky enough to catch LUM at its low, so have a little PPS cushion. These were done in my daughter's account. She and her husband will just have to suck it up and pay some taxes on the trusts which did give a nice ride.

It appears CNR might be a dollar or more for at least a little while. Too bad we weren't able to show it on ClearStation, as we could have shown a nice gain. Oh well, I'm not complaining.

FRO has been giving back some gains the last couple of days. I hope it is just a delayed reaction to going ex. I still think it has room to travel but have been wrong zillions of times before.

TKs for mentioning NLY. You kind of have to keep an eagle eye on these high dividenders, but it is nice to see a little loot show up every qtr.

Best regards,
OH
