"Weak atheism" - disbelief in the existence of God.
"Strong atheism" - belief that God does not exist.

I'm not sure I get the distinction. Perhaps the "strong" ones are the likely foisters and the "weak" ones just sit quietly for fear of offending someone (like God, IF He exists, but He doesn't, but no sense taking unnecessary risks). ;-)
