We had the "moment of silence" in school when I was a kid, I can't see how it causes any harm, but I never did know exactly what the hell I was supposed to be doing while we were all standing there with our heads bowed down.

I've never understood the prayer thing at all. To me it is a lot like the system at Sea World, where if the trained dolphin executes its backflip correctly it gets a few herrings tossed into its mouth.

But we don't even get the herring.
