Sounds like a plan. I trust that you know i am not war gaming here for fun. This is deadly serious business. If Bodansky is correct we may only have days, weeks or months to come up with something other than the rantings of both left and right on this thread.
As an aside, given that chirac is already kissing khaddafi, is there any way at all there can be any type of deal struck with al quaeda to settle some of the differences without either side giving in on core issues. Remember how the mac arthur ignored china and paid a heavy price. Is there a Yalu river type deal that no one has yet seen. I suspect bin laden doesnt want to be living in caves forever either. And #2, is the Taliban the logical outcome of wahabiism. Something tells me that bin laden is less primitive than that regime indicates. Mike
