Vancouver Protest is half over. We pulled down a statue of George Bush and there was a loud crowd of about 1,000 (the main event is at 5 PM at the Vancouver Art Gallery) marching from Canada Place to the US Embassy with police escort. Lots of people in the skyscrapers along the route were looking out of their windows. It was nice to join a crowd of others on a workday who felt strongly enough to take the time to make their voices heard.
