[Westell/Amati with Lucent/Nortel]

BellBoy -

I was wondering if AMTX and Westell worked better with certain Central Office equipment vendors such as Lucent or Northern Telecom

Definitely a valid point. This is one of my concerns with AMTX.
Westell has announced partnerships with Nortel and DSC, so I'm sure
that Westell line cards will integrate well with their equipment.
Amati has made no such announcements to my knowledge. I have no
knowledge about how hard it would be to integrate an Allegro or
anyone else's DSLAM with any telco vendor equipment. Or if the RBOCs
really want DSLAMs or if they want line cards that integrate into
existing equipment such as NGDLCs. It seems that Amati should be
lining up partners in this area. Does anyone know of any?
