LOL. It's a good thing liberals don't run this country. We'd be a pile of slag by now and we'd all be speaking Russian.
When we attacked Iraq, the liberals were saying that Iran and North Korea pose a graver threat, and therefore, we should not have attacked Iraq. Now that we're getting more frustrated at Iran for playing every trick in the book to stall for time to build a nuclear bomb, everyone is getting worried that we may do something to Iran. And now the excuses they use for not doing something about Iran is that North Korea is a bigger threat.
So if we tried to do something about North Korea, what would they say?
Look. It's pretty simple folks. Bush layed it all out for you in his first term. Iraq, Iran, and North Korea were said to be the biggest threats to U.S. security. We destroyed one. We're about to have 6 party nuclear talks with another, and if Europe doesn't deal with Iran with a firm hand, we may have to wage an air war against Iran.
I am pessimistic. I believe Iran will stop at nothing to build both a nuclear bomb and a delivery system. Within 2 years, we will have no choice but to go it alone and air bomb Iran, because the rest of the world will still be playing along with Iran's bait and switch, subterfuge, and delay tactics.
I said good riddance when Saddam was toppled and I'll say the same when Khomenie and Kim Jong Il are toppled, the French curses and badwill notwithstanding. |
