Adaptec (NASDAQ:ADPT), provider of the PC Card-to-SCSI adapter private-labeled by Iomega (NASDAQ:IOMG) for
the Zip card, has licensed SystemSoft's PC Card software suite for inclusion with the Zip card. With the
Adaptec-manufactured Zip card and SystemSoft enabling software, users can connect their SCSI Iomega Zip drive to their
mobile computers through the PC Card slots on their computers.

Announced at PC Expo, the Zip Card is a private-label version of Adaptec's APA -1460 SlimSCSI host adapter PC Card,
shipping with SystemSoft's industry-leading CardWizard PC Card software products. The combination of technologies from
the three companies results in unparalleled compatibility, portability, and manageability for data backup and transport for
portable- computer users.

The Iomega Zip drive is one of the fastest- selling personal-storage products today, with more than two million units shipped.
Coupled with the Zip card, Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 users can quickly and easily backup their portable computers
through an external Zip drive.
