Raymond...you live in Sun River?

Love it there.

I have to say that although this was a week day 500 people is a pittance compared to your rally there. It's hard to get behind something in an apathetic city such as Vancouver.

If it were a spring Sunday it would attract 100,000 people like last spring. It was cold and miserable in Vancouver although not raining.

There really wasn't too much to say except they toppled a very well made statue likeness of Bush and the chants could be heard for blocks. I'm glad I went, alway am. But this close to Christmas in Vancouver people have one thing on their mind. Shopping. Its a very very wealthy city and people just don't get involved in anything that distracts them from their shameless pursuit of materialism.

That said, if Bush had chosen Vancouver there would have easily been 100,000 protestors as most people here hate the bastard.
