Worldwide oil consumption is now about 80M bbls/day. US consumption is 20M bbls/day. Since China pop is 4X US pop, then an equivalent per capita oil consumption for China would be 80M bbls/day.That part seems correct. But for current China consumption to be 1/30 per capita US, they would be using less than 3M bbls/day. That part seems incorrect. 1/20th is more like it.
