"The deference He showed to the poor was shown also by His Father long before He came to earth." Still, Jesus was a Liberal in his views regarding the poor compared with the mainstream judaic religious thinking of the time. Regarding His father, He's never, to this date, shown any "deference" to the poor, that is if your talking action and not just words. Where's your good lord been to protect the poor from the two thousand years of christian and non-christian butchery we've been a witness to? "He believed in handouts to the poor in precisely the manner that we believers give to the poor." Well you are doing a piss poor job of it, considering 30,000 kids die of starvation every day. "Heathens haven't a clue about helping hurting people." Speak for yourself. "You have no authority to preach to me about compassion since you are such flagrant and ardent murderers of those who need compassion the most." You are living in your own personal historical dark age I see. "It is only the left that believes He is in the grave. Believers know of a certainty that He is not." Geez, you sound more convinced than Jesus does in certain scriptures.
