When I first subscribed to SI back in '98 or '99 I took a gamble and went for the Lifetime Membership which was going for $200 bucks or thereabout. Yes, it was a gamble because there was no assurance you would survive and my 200 smackers would be gone. If it weren't for punters like myself perhaps you would have gone down the tubes.

Now I see my UserLevel is 12 and to get all the new bells and whistles a further yearly fee is required. The added cost means nothing to me but the principle of the thing does. In my book, Lifetime means Lifetime. To now dangle a few new improvements in front of us for a further charge is somewhat on the sleazy side.

When first subscribing to SI, trust on my part was involved. Now I would like you live up to this trust and give your Lifetime members a thank you for putting up the funds to keep your struggling enterprise going way back when. An upgrade to the highest user level would be appropriate and nice.
