I agree that that is the most suspect aspect of this. It's not like it was a Fortune 500 company from New York. You'd think that there would be office chatter about it and word would get around.

The argument that Gardner kept making last night, though, that he was dismissed one day after the article appeared, is the best argument for his suspicions not being valid. No way they could react that way in a day. His continuing to fall back on that makes him look lame.

I think it's great that folks want to help out a vet who lost his job. But amassing troops prematurely to destroy a company based on suspicion and conjecture is irresponsible.
