"Just to clarify, the forces were never on hand " ....because our folks thought that it would be unneccessary. I wonder whether substantially more troops would have left us in a much better shape in the end. We had 500k in vietnam and some said send more. Bodies arent the answer either. I guess if we somehow secured the borders etc. .....actually i dont know so i will shut up. mike
