Do you believe that it is in the US best interests that nations which are economically far behind the curve actually accelerate their economic development?

Nigeria, for example, has a huge population. And a lot of oil, most of which they export to folks like us. When their needs rise, at some point their exports will decline.

Problem or opportunity?

(I already know teevee wants to bomb them just for dreaming of using their own resource wealth, denying it from his SUV, but perhaps you have an idea other than that)
