I felt that perhaps that RDB post was aimed a little bit at me, too, since you were not having a conversation alone (or maybe you were?). I assumed the situation involved both of us, and I was making a little joke about it, partly at my own expense.
I could have ended all this by just ignoring you. But I didn't. Mea culpa. I should probably apologize for that. But unless YOU are the situation, then I don't think it was a 3rd party post. Now if you ARE the situation, and I'm not even involved (which might be the case, I guess, now that I've read your post) fine- if what went on today was you, you and nothing but you- then I apologize for referring to the situation, which was in fact YOU.
If, however, I too was involved in some small way in the dialog or whatever it was we were having (that I do HOPE will end someday), then I do not apologize, because logically a situation which includes myself cannot be about someone else alone. |
