Soros was instrumental in the government change in Georgia, when Shevarnadze got the boot. Reportedly, his foundation paid for training the opposition in techniques of "bloodless revolution". It worked.

Without getting into his politics, I am not sure I am comfortable with the idea of a rich individual going around the world playing king maker. I am not a lawyer, but apparently what he does is not against any law. So far, anyway.

Good thing Bill Gates doesn't go around spending money changing governments. He is much richer then Soros, I guess he could do more damage... -g
