why you think that those words are any more substantial in their import than what any other bloke says? Because no other bloke said feed the hungry, clothe the naked, heal the sick, turn the other cheek, if someone asks for your coat give them your cloak, etc. No other bloke said blessed are the poor. No other bloke said consider the lilies of the field - they toil not, neither do they spin, yet Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed as the least of them. No other bloke said what doth it profit a man that he gain the whole world, but lose his soul?
