I think the next 60 days will see the intense lobbying of iraqi sunni tribal elders. Did anybody say warlords as in afganistan? Its not a perfect model for the iraqis to follow although the insurgents can become part a tribal leader militia of sorts. The talibanization of zarquawi would be a good next step as nationalists turn against the foreigners. The united front may only last so long and combine this with a defacto exit date for US forces maybe, just maybe this can work. Unlike afganistan sunnis will have no drug trade but in a federal model they will need a cut of the oil proceeds to dampen the blow of desaddamization. Mike
