McNealy: NT is the alternative to Solaris on the server. And NT is the alternative to Solaris in the workstation marketplace. Windows is the alternative to Java on the network client. It is really Sparc-Solaris-Java against Intel-Microsoft. We scale from ring to supercomputer, no viruses, no memory leaks, no porting, write once run anywhere, and zero administration.

But when will the highlighted dream become a real reality? I do enjoy reading McNealy's rantings against MSFT though, they are amusing.
