Thanks for the input. The specs look good. What troubles me is the statement under warrantee "1-Year Limited with 30-day parts and 1-Year e-mail technical support." That's pretty tough pill to swallow if something goes wrong any time after delivery -- the cost of technician diagnosis, by the hour, would be alarming. The Lacie (calibration is an add-on) I was considering is the one at the following link: lacie.com The NEC is found below and includes calibration: designtechnica.shopping.com What were you using previously? I've been using an NEC MultiSync for probably 5 years without incident and plan to move her slightly to the left to use as a second, subordinate monitor.
