I assume it means they never envisioned the stock going so low, and the people who bought the warrants did not either, and these are important, rich people who might come in handy in the future of the company, so, they would like to give them a little more time to profit from the options. That said, if the option holders are happy to extend the time of $1.00 exercise price for 6 months, then perhaps they think the share price will be well north of $1.00 in that six months.
