Well, this is no longer a dream. Watch for Oracle's adds very soon (perhaps as early as next month/early October) as they along with Sun and others will be aggressively going after the regular mass consumers as well as corporate America. If a company like Federal Express is to order 50,000 NCs to replace its 486 and pentium PCs, I believe this is no longer a dream! Also your choice of words in describing Mcnealy's comments as amusing is an understatement. They are the words making an end to an era in which Microsoft-Intel monopolized and manipulated the market by pushing the desktop as the computing model in the industry!
