Well, yes, Ionesco, PMs are very complicated. I don't get many of them, and I never reveal anything that's in them, or who sends them to me, of course. I guess there are a lot of people who send them all day and all night, but I have my hands full out here in public.
Just to reiterate, the only reason Jewel's private messages came up is that there were several posts where people--mostly E, I think, but I could be wrong--asked me if I would be willing to reinstate Jewel. And because of his PMs I could not. It put me in sort of a compromised position, because I do try to be flexible, and yet in this case I could not be, and yet could not really explain why without at least saying something.
I believe E has acknowledged that Jewel confirmed some of this with her, so I think the whole sorry episode is resolved. I hope so! |
