Andy..

I'm not exactly sure of what you're saying. But, in response, I will say this; If you're a neophyte, and I expect you are, you shouldn't be giving other newcomers advice. Your advise to a newcomer this morning to sell naked was totally absurd. That same advise would have cost him thousands if you had given it to him last week and he sold the wrong position into the strong upswing. People ask for help here and that's what you should give them. It certainly doesn't help them for you to pretend you know what you're doing and give them what is probably the worst advise imaginable. That's worse than no help at all.

We all make mistakes. And, I'm no one to brag. (I have an eraser on the end of my pencil too.) The advise I gave today I should have sent directly to Judy via e-mail rather than broadcast it. I would have, except I don't know that my new e-mail program is working properly. Re the OEX move, it is sound as I expect the market to drift down to pick off some of last week's gains. But I can't predict the market's moves any more than anyone else. We can only go on past experience and probablity. So far, I've been lucky, I got back into the options market after an eight year hiatus and have tripled my money in a month. But that luck has been based on watching the markets for thirty or so years. And, that's what I make my moves on.

I'm sure you have a good head on your shoulders. Use it wisely. Remember a full drum makes little sound.

:o)
