Bolivar Announces Appointment of Mauro Coppola as President and CEO TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 1997--Bolivar Goldfields L(TSE BVG.) Bolivar Goldfields Ltd. announced today that Miguel de la Campa had resigned his offices as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective August 27, 1997, and that Mauro Coppola had been appointed to succeed Mr. de la Campa, effective immediately. Mr. Coppola had been serving as the Senior Vice President of the Company. Mr. de la Campa will remain as an Executive Director of the Company and will continue to sit on the board of directors. Mr. Coppola has a degree in Geology from Milan University and has over 30 years of mining and exploration experience. Prior to joining Bolivar, Mr. Coppola served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Jordex Resources Ltd., a mining company from 1992 to 1995.
