"liberal hubris allows academics to denigrate conservative victories at the polls"

And what about conservative hubris- which got us in to an unnecessary war? Hubris is in the eye of the beholder- you aren't going to be stepping outside yourself anytime soon to see it where you really don't want to (imo, although I see plenty of liberal hubris)

There is a ton of unfairness and hubris in the world- and my guess is, it is pretty equally apportioned. That more academics happen to be liberal appears to be true- I wonder where conservaties are "over-represented"? Big Business, perhaps?

I don't know who all these liberally hubristic denigraters are-I'm guessing you are really talking about liberal columnists (because who else would you be hearing from?)- and there are just as many (maybe more) extremely hubristic conservative hosts denigrating liberals for everything.

Nope. I'm not worried about conservatives. When they become an endangered species I might worry about them, but until then, nope.
