On the shiny pieces of steel seen in this photo:

I was looking through some different sites last night and found one that described those pieces as being aluminum cladding from the exterior of the buildings. One clip I looked at showed those pieces sailing more than were falling, as if they were quite light.

At this point I'm questioning my interpretation of the photos in that what I originally thought to be parts of the box columns, may actually be what amounts to aluminum siding.

Since it's an item I included in the topic post, it's something I should fix if it's wrong. Comments, suggestions?.
