Zeev: Geo. Faris has not "jettisoned half (or any) of his stock", but has only positioned himself so he can dispose of it in the future. Other directors have done the same as to theirs'. Exactly what he or the others are going to do, we do not know. I choose to assume that it is all part of some necessary deal with the Kazak partners and/or upcoming financier(s), who are demanding equity interests, seats on the board, perhaps removal of existing directors; in any case a restructuring of the configuration of power inside the corporation. I do not choose to assume, as you apparently do, that Faris is just a crook or a stupid dupe who is selling out all the other stockholders. His record does not indicate that. Nor do I assume that he is bent on some scheme that will make the stock "dead meat" for half a year while the world rushes by. Surely, that is not in the interests of anyone, especially the Kazaks and any financier(s), who need to consolidate the position of the company, and threrby their own position ASAP. You and the others who for your own reasons want this company to fail (or falter), of course can conjure arguments that Faris is not so motivated, or that his true interests are otherwise, and I am interested in hearing them. Thus far, you have convinced me of nothing, nor have you frankly revealed your own true reasons for wanting Faris to fail. I do not expect you to do that. Meanwhile, I am long AIPN and have never sold a share. Geneat |
