Tejek, sorry I goofed and mixed him up with another favorite Swede of mine: Folke Bernadotte!! Yes, RW was killed in jail in Russia in the late forties as far as we know now. The Swedish government did little to get him home and believed smooth relations and a smile from Old Joe were more important than working on that. Folke Bernadotte was murdered by the later heroes of the State of Israel in same country in 1948. My photo is of him and my father. I am from Stockholm but no, I don't live in Sweden. My homes are in San Diego and in Germany. As for "lutfisk", are you sure you don't mix it up with "surstromming"? Both are authentic but the latter takes guts to try... Taro
