There is one proposal to save SS that no one seems to be able to propose. Start paying our later. Retirement age should be 70 to 75. Just a change to 70 would probably add 20 years to the solvency.

I do not expect to get anything more than 1/3 to 1/4 of a subsistence cash flow from SS. I plan to have a much higher standard of living. The difference is why I build wealth.

If they would offer to cut my SS payments in half in exchange for waiving my right to collect, I would accept.
