Don't worry, this guy will not get off so easily. Both Singapore and Chinese gov. are now investigating the matter, and the one in Singapore is in criminal court. So even if China does not find anything wrong, Singapore side perhaps will. Singapore, after all, ranks pretty high in terms of anti corruption.

And the company sold plenty of shares after they knew the disaster but did not make it public as the law required. And some comapnies in Singapore and Malaysia bought the stocks and now had huge loss.
