NPR does an excellent job reporting the news. Sometimes the bias is annoying, but that's why radios have "on/off" switches. Agreed. I listen a lot, and find myself using the off switch a lot too. I think the better comparison is between NPR and Fox (which I don't get on cable at the moment), and NPR is still the better outlet. But the two present a clear case of competing news frameworks.
