NEW YORK, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Merisel Inc. (MSEL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday said it had filed a lawsuit against its former chief executive, accusing him of fraud in connection with the sale of the company's software licensing business.
The company said the suit against former CEO Timothy Jenson and others, including D&H Services LLC and TDH Enterprises, was filed in California on November 30.
The company was not immediately available for additional comment or to assist in reaching Jenson.
The company last month announced Jenson resigned after a decision by Merisel's audit committee to investigate the sale of assets that principally comprised the company's software licensing business, including notes and real property assets, to D&H Services LLC. The sale was announced on Aug. 18.
