My goodness! I always wished you would write longer posts. I must say this is unexpected, however. I am really impressed with your scholarship.

At the same time, I meant no harm. It was kind of a toss-off post, just a riff on an article I read in Time or Newsweek which did analyze the original language and determine that it was raisins, not virgins.

I am really sorry if I offended you, or any Muslims. I am not serious all the time. It was not intended as any kind of insult towards anyone, although it was suicide bombers I was talking about as perhaps being ultimately disappointed, not Muslims in general.
