But... I think SI was set up pretty much like the current IH settings. I think some of the promotions to sign on to SI was for the search feature along with others perks.

Any chance to reconsider the time frame for the search function on a specific thread? Not being able to search through the history of a favorite topic is a lot to give up unless you have to pay a fee.

My reason for buying the Lifetime membership in the first place was not to deal with increasing fees for the services signed for. I'll gladly pay for new features that I want, not ones that I've already paid for.
