Oh? How about the word Justice? Does it not presuppose that all men are entitled to Justice? On what basis do you think the framers believed all men were entitled to equal protection?

"The Treaty of Tripoli received UNANIMOUS consent"

Taken out of it's context, that may seem like a conclusive PROOF but it is not. This does not have any bearing on our discussion. I don't claim the U.S. is a Christian Country in the sense that the Treaty of Tripoli uses the term. I do agree with John Adams when he said;

"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were…the general principles of Christianity…I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God; and that those principles of liberty are as unalterable as human nature."
