How can we be near Kahuna when market breadth is not bad. My profitable experiences in '87 and later in '89 or '90 show that breadth was deteriorating while dow was advancing - ie dow and oex were last to collapse. This looks more like rotation to me. In fact despite holdings of brkb, intc and msft, my portfolio is actually advancing because of my small and mid-caps. Given the time of the year I do not deny that the market can go down a bit further, but I believe the traders will win (ie those who take their downside gains and run) and those waiting for kahuna will lose. Sooner or later we bounce.
