Whoa co-Dog!!! Thanks!!!
Ok everyone, here's the deal.
I have a wonderful friend, Mark Rodenberry, who is a photographer. He just happened to be working in New York on 9/11 and had the opportunity to shoot a series of pictures at the time of the attack and a day or so after at ground zero.
Mark does incredible work and has shot movie stars and numerous models (last week he was contracted to shoot a star of the hit series Desperate Housewives..I went with him -- she isn't quite as desperate as I hoped, however. <g>).
Mark has graciously made these select photos available to me to share with the great folks of the BBR who send in a donation to the B&G Club. I have been trying to figure out how to best do this and have decided on a "simple is best" approach.
Many of these photos are suitable for enlargement and framing, solo or as a series. They would also make a great picture album in memory of 9/11. I decided to let you decide what you might like to do with them and will send the entire series (25+) to you on a CD. From the CD you can do anything you like as far as printing, etc. for personal use. For any commercial uses, please contact me and I can obtain specific permission from Mark.
These pictures are unique and have been used in exhibits as well as by experts studying technical aspects of the destruction.
I invite everyone to my VERY simple web site to see an example of one of the pictures, plus a very wonderful picture of ME!!! <g> The site is located at: mikesimmons.com named after yours truly <g>
I will send a CD to everyone who donates, regardless of amount. (If for some reason you DON'T want a copy of the CD, please indicate so when you send in your donation, otherwise everyone gets one.)
As a reminder, checks should be made payable to The Boys & Girls Club of Bandera County and mailed to me at:
