I'm sorry, Grainne, but only a person who lives in the unreal world of bed-and-breakfasts and writes travelogues could have such a naive view. Take away the source of the anger? Those people killed a woman who married one of them and devoted her life to helping them. Those people killed innocents who did nothing but try to help them rebuild their miserable lives. Those people abuse and subjugate women to the perverted code that says "I can have many wives and beat them whenever I want, but I can stone to death a woman who dares to look askance at a man." Rick Reeves should do a travelogue of Iraq. If he survives it, I bet he would come up with a more realistic view. He is partly right: So, why did they do it? Because "they hate freedom?" Come on -- that's ridiculous. They did it because they just plain hate. HATE!
