No, Cheney was not right. For even after the slaying of Saddam's sons and the imprisonment of Saddam himself, the turmoil in Iraq persists and like never before! Before the Iraq War, you guys were told that the Iraqis would be welcoming US troops with hugs and with flowers, and with dance and song. Nothing of that sort happened. Instead, US and foreign army personnel are shot and killed daily and there's even a blackout on news of bodybags being flown home. And this is a funny one here: we are now told that the Pentagon has been conducting a Psy-Ops operation. That is, the recent spate of news about US setbacks was actually misinformation calculated to embolden the enemy into coming out in greater numbers only to be overwhelmed by superior US weaponry! So folks, from hereon you are supposed to believe that the US and Coalition forces are actually succeeding whenever you come across news of US setbacks in Iraq! Ain't that a good 'un, eh? .
