Ooops, I notice a typo. I meant the finer points, not finger points.

This is very disappointing.
I contemplated for the longest time what the "finger points of myrrh and incense" could possibly be. I was sure it was some esoteric Biblical or philosophical allusion with profound significance, maybe a metaphor for the solution to one of life's puzzling mysteries with myrrh and incense somehow guiding the spirit. I wondered if perhaps fingers are used for divination in some religious cults? And smelling incense and myrrh are a form of reading signs, like tea leaves, an olfactory tasseomancy.

I even googled it but the closest I could get was some Zen thing about meditating with incense and remembering that when the finger points at the moon, contemplate the moon, not the finger.

Finally I gave up, convinced that yet again you guys were just awesomely well-read, and I could but sit back and admire.
Now I learn that it was a typo.
finer points.
Not nearly as provocative as finger points.
Please do better.
