Well, some would call monitoring mosques and Muslim communities within the U.S. racial profiling and discrimination. I would call it a judicious use of statistics. The probability is higher that a terrorist plot will be hatched in a Muslim community rather than in a WASP community in Dallas, for instance. Everyone calls that discrimination, but to heck with being P.C. We need to go to the source of the problem and make sure they don't break our laws. Look at Van Goh's killers. They were Muslims who were born in the Netherlands. Had the Netherlands put aside their p.c. tendencies, they might have cracked down on Muslim radicalism long before it resulted in the death of one of their citizens, albeit a very provocative citizen like Van Goh.
