I empathize with you dilemma, as the not having a playcard to keep track of the cast at this juncture can be daunting. I will try to simplify it for you, as succinctly as possible.
* Pugs (known on this site as Gary Dobry, bmart, Spider Valdez) was a crooked hypester of several dubious penny stocks (OVIS/RMIL, TVSI, AZNT/ANTD). He has a hard-on for short-sellers and believes he will crush them all in The Mother of All Short-Squeezes, someday.
* Tony Elgindy is a short-seller. Not all short-sellers or stock skeptics agree with, or follow, Elgindy, but Pugs lumps all the above into the same category.
* Pugs' actual market knowledge is of such extent that he believes a Pink Sheet Trading Floor actually exists, and there are active specialist/traders on that floor.
* Elgindy has a been a target of Pugs for many years. Pugs launched a website several years ago which had a morass of unusual and unprovable connections. In short, terrorism is related to short-selling, is related to Joe Kennedy and Jesse Jackson, is related to Social Security numbers of residents in Ohio of people no one has ever heard of, is related to Janice, me, but SI controls the whole hub of worldwide naked shorting and the owners of this msg board site are in cahoots with the biggest crime cartel since John Gotti whacked out the Castellano faction of the Gambino family, which will be 28 years ago, eleven days from now.
* Pugs seriously led a lot of people to lose a lot of money with the aforementioned penny stocks. Companies, I might add, that advertised an "AIDS Preventative" skin creme, a chewing gum that purportedly obviates any future need for dentistry professionals, millions of dollars from the sale of a sunken, barnacle-encrusted cruise ship, and other tawdry tales. Each time Pugs' lies are proven out, he goes on a "short-seller" silliness frenzy as you've recently seen exhibited by Louie. Sometimes, he even hires an ambulance chaser to attempt silly things in court, such as trying to subpoena 41 SI aliases for their credit card numbers (see: Subject 52306 ). Some of those aliases never even attacked Dobry, and better yet, some of those aliases never even existed on any msg board. Which shows to what extent that he "imagines" Elgindy and a zillion others are out to "get him".
* He was kicked off SI about 6 years ago. His posting style, however, is unmistakeable. Those of us who have read him for years will back me up on this, I believe firmly. He momentarily "gamed" SI for the Louie alias. You have not seen the last of "Louie", and then that posting style will probably become familiar to you, as well.
* Among the "credentials" that Dobry cites for himself are a successful boxing career and a medical degree from France. Those are some of the inside jokes that appear here. Both credentials are false. He does, however, own a boxing gym, but knowing Gary's background, I'd bet there's very little sweat actually occuring. Probably the "cleanest" gym in town although he did get Danny Bonaduce, the little redhead kid from the Partridge Family, to appear there once or twice. Woo hoo.
That's a quick recap of the Elgindy Conspiracy, and if it didn't make much sense, that should be about right. Dobry connects some pretty remote dots. Please feel absolutely free to ask about any details which may appear unclear.
