Your solution is something that will solve the symptoms of the problem for a short while, but not the root cause. The root cause is the fact that your money and my money is going not to an account for you and I, but to pay for retirees today. That is the definition of a ponzi scheme. As long as that structure exists, there will always be the need to continue raising taxes to support it. So your solution doesn't solve the problem long term.
