IGNORANCE is not justification. The WEST POINT graduate who is representing these men and women said that it was an obscured sentence...and that it was like a contract that lawyers write where the small print at the bottom of the page that was intended to allow what is happening occur..So I doubt that it was ignorance. It was trust. These veterans did not suspect that the government would be so covert by having a sentence in small print and so obscured. They trusted.

There are those for whom he is fighting to release them from this binding contract but it's tenuous at best.
